The standard we hold our legal guides to — and what you can expect from anything published under the Proxario name.
How our guides are prepared
Proxario’s guides are written by the practice desks that do the work they describe, in plain English, for international readers. Before publication, legal content is to be reviewed by an attorney of the relevant desk; bylines on each guide identify the responsible author.
Sources
We prefer primary official sources — the statutes themselves, and the registries and ministries that administer them. Where a guide cites a Dominican law, we link the official text so you can read it directly.
Keeping content current
Laws, fees and administrative practice change. Guides carry their last-updated date, and our standard is to re-review material periodically and whenever we become aware of a relevant change. If something looks out of date, we want to know.
Corrections
Spotted an error? Write to info@proxario.com.do with the page and the issue. Corrections are made to the page itself, and the updated date is refreshed.
