Remote work, without blind spots
- You receive one bilingual point of contact and a written sequence before originals are shipped.
- A power of attorney is authority given to a representative; its scope must match the actual filing or transaction.
- Apostille, legalization and Spanish translation are separate questions determined by the document and receiving institution.
- Government, bank and counterparty decisions remain outside the firm’s control.
Who this service is for
- Dominicans abroad who need to form, update or regularize a company at home.
- Foreign investors purchasing or managing Dominican real estate.
- International founders, shareholders or parent companies signing Dominican corporate documents.
- Families coordinating residence, succession or registry records from another country.
What Proxario handles
- A video consultation in English or Spanish and a written scope identifying the decision, signer, authority and deliverable.
- Document review before notarization, including name consistency, corporate authority and the correct original or certified-copy format.
- Preparation of a limited poder, coordination of apostille or consular legalization where required, and certified Spanish translation.
- Local filing, observation tracking, status reporting and delivery of registered documents or electronic evidence.
The remote process
- Scope the result. We confirm what must be signed, filed or registered and whether any institution requires personal attendance.
- Verify client and authority. Conflict, identity and beneficial-owner checks come before representation. For a company, we also verify who can authorise the Dominican act.
- Prepare documents for the issuing country. The signing instructions identify notarization, apostille or consular legalization, translation and whether an original must travel.
- File and report. We submit the agreed matter, respond within scope to observations and distinguish firm preparation milestones from authority-controlled decisions.
- Close and hand over. The closing report inventories registered products, pending dates, originals and any compliance follow-up.

| Execution | Approved signatures and courier tracking where originals are needed | No alteration after notarization; complete authentication chain |
| Handover | Delivery preference and authorised recipient | Inventory, receipt and outstanding compliance calendar |
Payments, time zones and communication
The engagement letter states the professional fee, currency, accepted payment route and third-party expenses. We never request passwords or full payment-card details by email or WhatsApp. Government charges, courier, notary, apostille, consular, translation and specialist costs are separate unless the quote says otherwise. A quoted preparation date is not a guarantee of a registry, bank, authority or counterparty decision.
Proxario works on Atlantic Standard Time (UTC−4). We agree the primary contact, meeting window and decision channel at opening. Material instructions and approvals are confirmed in writing so a message sent across time zones does not become an unauthorised filing.
Illustrative example: a Dominican founder in New York
Example: a Dominican living in New York wants an SRL to operate a family business in Santo Domingo. After a video meeting, Proxario reviews the founder’s identification, ownership plan and proposed manager, drafts a special power and provides signing instructions. The founder completes the authentication required for New York documents and sends only the requested originals. Proxario coordinates the local formation and supplies a closing file. If the chosen bank requires personal onboarding, that step is scheduled separately rather than promised as part of formation. This is illustrative, not a report about a client or a guaranteed outcome.
Fees and third-party costs
Professional fees are quoted in writing by defined workstream after the scope is reviewed. Official charges and outside costs are itemised separately and confirmed before they are incurred. A new country of signature, transaction, signer, registry observation or contested issue may require a revised scope; it is not silently treated as included.

Frequently asked questions
Must I travel to the Dominican Republic to hire Proxario?+
No. Many corporate, property and registry matters can be prepared and coordinated remotely when the receiving institution accepts representation and the power of attorney is completed correctly.
Can every step be completed through a power of attorney?+
No. A bank, notary, regulator or other institution may require the client to appear, identify themselves or complete its own onboarding. We identify those points before the client relies on a fully remote plan.
How are originals delivered to the Dominican Republic?+
We first review scans, then give a written shipping list for only the originals or certified copies the matter requires. Tracking details and receipt are recorded in the file.
How do I know what was filed or registered?+
The closing report identifies the documents signed, the authority or registry involved, the filing evidence received and any outstanding compliance step. Original products are delivered or collected under an agreed handover plan.
Does a video consultation create an attorney–client relationship?+
No. Representation begins only after Proxario completes its conflict and identity review and both sides accept a written engagement defining scope and fees.
