Who needs a sanitary registration

Building the route-specific dossier
The live service controls. Depending on the product and route, the dossier may include:
- Free-sale evidence from the country of origin, with apostille or legalization only if the selected route requires it.
- Composition or formula, specifications and certificates of analysis.
- Manufacturer credentials — operating license and good-manufacturing-practice evidence.
- Label artwork meeting the requirements of the selected category.
- Local-party documents for the titleholder or applicant, any required Dominican representative or authorised establishment, and the importer.
Legalization, apostille and Spanish translation requirements vary by document and route. Confirm them before ordering certificates or translations.
Labeling: the silent file-killer
Language, ingredients, claims, warnings, lot or date coding and party identification depend on the product category and approved file. Review artwork against the current rule and selected procedure before printing.
Separate the regulatory roles
Identify the product titleholder or applicant, any Dominican representative or authorised establishment required by the selected service, and the importer. These may be different parties.
